Chickweed Capsules

Chickweed [Urinary, Glandular] is a common herb often considered a weed that grows in the worlds temperate regions. It has a long growing season, and its pollen is a common cause of springtime allergies. It provides one of the few sources of fresh seed for birds in the winter and can be used as a salad herb and a cooked vegetable. In herbology, it is used primarily to support the urinary system. Some use it to provide nutrients that must be present for the bodies metabolism-balancing functions. It is mild in nature and contains vitamins A and C, some B vitamins, calcium, phosphorus, potassium and zinc. Its available in gelatin capsules and all-botanical Vegitabs®. Each capsule contains 375 mg chickweed (Vegitabs® 440 mg).
